John Klima, Editor/Publisher
editor [at] electricvelocipede.com
John previously worked at Asimov’s, Analog, and Tor Books before returning to school to earn his Master’s in Library and Information Science. He now works full time as a librarian. When he is not conquering the world of indexing, John edits and publishes the Hugo Award-winning genre zine Electric Velocipede. As of 2010, the magazine has also been nominated for the World Fantasy Award four years in a row.
In 2007 John edited an anthology of science fiction and fantasy stories based on spelling-bee winning words called Logorrhea: Good Words Make Good Stories. In 2011, he edited Happily Ever After, an anthology of retellings of fairytales for Night Shade Books. He and his family live in the Midwest.

Anne Zanoni, Managing Editor
Anne loves words and has the best job ever—copy-editing books. Part of EV since autumn 2008, she discovered that working for multiple ‘zines was a bit wearing, and shifted down to only two ‘zines (from four) when more book-jobs came her way. She lives in the Great Lakes region of the Midwest and is looking for some interesting hobbies.
Patrick Ward, Associate Editor
Patrick graduated from Beloit College in 2009 and has been pushing words ever since. An archaeolinguist by training and a writer by passion, he joined the EV team in August of 2010.
He is obsessed with stories. Clearly.
Damien Walters Grintalis, Assistant Editor
Damien lives in Maryland with her husband, two cats, one very old ferret, and two rescued pit bulls. She’s a member of the Horror Writers Association, is represented by Mark McVeigh of The McVeigh Agency, and is the newest addition to the EV team.
