     Learned to love the light
     It quiets down to listen
     To its own story.

     The goats once found it
     Restless and eternally hungry
     Under the bridge.

     It could have a history of its own
     If it would only stop preying
     And confess the mysteries of its world.

     Its jaws clamped shut
     Its eyes vigilant and proud
     It goes home under the bridge.
