Our intention is to bring out high-quality chapbooks from Electric Velocipede regulars as well as authors that the editors of Electric Velocipede admire. To that end, the first chapbook was a collection of Ezra Pines stories. Ezra is as close to a regular at Electric Velocipede as anyone has come. It was his "Mr. Brain" stories that drew me into his writing initially. We had Mark Rich do the cover as well as interior illustrations for the chapbook, and Hal Duncan graciously gave an introduction. From this loft position, we can only go up in our pursuit of chapbook greatness.
"The Sense of Falling" by Ezra Pines
"An Alternate History of the 21st Century" by William Shunn
"Psychological Methods To Sell Should Be Destroyed: Stories" by Robert Freeman Wexler
Future chapbooks are being considered from writers such as KJ Bishop and Lavie Tidhar. This is the path that Small Beer Press took before books starting being published. If we're not careful, we could end up in the same boat.
